Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Keflavik & Transfer to Hotel – Reykjavik City Tour

Arrive at Keflavik Airport and after clearing Customs and Immigration, we head towards Reykjavik (approximately 50 mins drive). After arriving in Reykjavik, we enjoy a city Tour of Reykjavik. We cover all sightseeing points such as Sun Voyager, Harpa concert house, City Hall, Parliament House, etc. The most famous landmark of the city is the Hallgrimskirkja Church (from the outside). We make a photo stop here and spend some free time. Check in after 16:00 hours.
Day 2: Whale Watching Reykjavik – Blue Lagoon - Reykjavik

Today morning we proceed towards a whale watching tour where you might be lucky enough to see different species of whale, like Minke whales, Dolphins, Harbour porpoises, Seals and on occasions you might even see Killer whales. (3 to 3.5 hours duration – subject to weather permission). Later, we drive towards the famous Blue Lagoon Comfort package. The Blue Lagoon is a unique sight where guests enjoy relaxing in warm geothermal water surrounded by magical black lava fields. The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients, mineral salts, silica and blue green algae, help you relax and escape the stress and strain of daily life (entrance fee, welcome drink, 1 face mask & towel rental included in our Comfort Package).

Day 3: Reykjavik – Aurora Museum – Flyover Iceland – Akureyri

Check out day and we proceed toward Aurora Museum, which is a Northern Lights information centre with historical exhibits, art, a theatre & guided tours. After visiting the museum, we go towards Flyover Iceland, which is a motion seating & a wraparound screen, simulating flight over mountains & glaciers. Later, we continue driving towards Akureyri, a long drive that passes through various landscapes and is one of the most scenic drives of the journey towards Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland. 390 Kms – approx. 5 hours’ drive (Stops extra). Evening, we enjoy a stroll and a walking orientation tour of Akureyri town, covering the Church old town pedestrian street. Later check in at the hotel (check in after 16:00 hrs). Overnight in Akureyri.
Day 4: Diamond Circle (Godafoss, Lake Myvatn, Namaskard) – Dettifoss – Akureyri

Today, we enjoy North Iceland’s most famous Diamond Circle tour. We stop first on route at Godafoss waterfall, the waterfall of the pagan gods. Then we continue to the Lake Myvatn area, where we spend the day exploring the wonders around the lake, which is one of Iceland’s most interesting regions with the Namaskard geothermal boiling mudpool area. We visit the amazing boiling mud pools and steam vents of Namaskard. Later visit Dettifoss, which is a waterfall in Vatnajökull National Park in Northeast Iceland, and is reputed to be the second most powerful waterfall in Europe after the Rhine Falls. (subject to weather conditions) 1.2 km walk; (In case of snowfall the entry for Dettifoss is closed). Evening, proceed back to Akureyri. Overnight in Akureyri in the same hotel.
Day 5: Akureyri – Myvtan Thermal Bath – Borgarnes

Today we check out and go towards and relax in Myvtan Thermal Bath for a relaxing geothermal bath in a stunning natural lagoon. (Costume to be brought by clients). Later, we continue our drive towards Borgarnes (approx 4 hrs 30 mins), stop for extra; Then we check in at the hotel (check in after 16:00 hrs). Overnight in Borgarnes.
Day 6: Hraunfossar & Barnafoss – Into the Glacier – Borgarnes

Today morning, we begin our journey towards Langjökull (second largest glacier in Iceland). During the journey, we enjoy charming views and scenery. Our first stop will be at the most picturesque waterfall, “Hraunfossar & Barnafoss”. Here we have a 10-minute walking trail. Later, we continue to get up close and personal on a glacier – the best way to experience Iceland! In the Glacier tour, you will drive in a Super Jeep on the Langjokull Glacier and take a guided tour in the first man-made cave inside the Glacier to see
what the world beneath the Glacier is like. The walking tour inside the Glacier is for an hour, and the to-and-fro journey in the Super Jeep is 30 minutes each way. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you might not encounter anywhere else in your life. Later, we make a photo stop at Deildartunguvher Hot springs, it is the hottest spring in Europe where water erupts between 90 to 120 degrees each second. Overnight in Borgarnes in the same hotel.
Day 7: Borgarnes - Seljalandsfoss – Skogafoss – Plane wreck – Black Sand Beach – Vik

Today, check out & we depart towards South Iceland and visit the very first location of Gerua fame waterfall – Seljalandsfoss, where there is a 30-minute walking trail behind the waterfall (carry rainy wear if you don’t want to get wet). Then we continue our journey towards the waterfall Skogafoss, where on a bright sunny day, at least 2 rainbows are visible at a time. Followed by a visit to the Solheimasandur – Plane wreck location by shuttle bus. It is one of the well-known locations from the Gerua song. Later in the afternoon, we proceed towards Reynisfjara – BLACK SAND BEACH (one of its kind in the world), where you would enjoy the Rock apostles in the ocean & also see Basalt Rock columns & cave formation at the beach. Note – It is always extremely windy at the beach. Arrive in Vik and check in at the hotel. (Check in after 16:00 hrs). Overnight in Vik.
Day 8: Vik – Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon & Diamond Beach – Vik

Today we will visit two of the most beautiful places in Iceland – Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon & Diamond beach. We continue east in order to reach the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón, one of the most spectacular sights in Iceland. Enormous icebergs constantly break off the glacier into the lagoon, melting slowly as they drift towards the sea nearby. Here we will take a photo stop and walk around the lagoon to enjoy this amazing landscape. Later, we enjoy the amphibious boat Ride at this Lagoon. Opposite the lagoon is the Diamond Beach, where you have the icebergs that are at the shore, making it a beautiful location to photograph. Evening back at the hotel. Overnight in Vik in the same hotel.
Day 9: Golden Circle tour (Tomato Farm, Geyser, Gullfoss, Thingvellir National Park) – Keflavik

Today, check out and we proceed towards the Golden Circle. Our first destination will be the Tomato Farm, where you will experience Greenhouse farming using geothermal energy. Here we enjoy a unique delicacy of 1 Tomato Ice Cream and 1 Tomato Cheesecake per couple, which is a local specialty. Later, continue the journey towards Geysir – home to the Littli Geysir & the great Strokkur Geyser, which erupts about every 8 minutes. It truly is a sight to behold. Followed by Geysir is the Gullfoss Waterfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in Europe, which falls in two folds. Later, we visit Þingvellir National Park. The park is a place of great beauty located on the biggest lake of Iceland (Silfra Lake), where the Tectonic Plates of North America and the Eurasian continent drift apart each year. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After dinner, we drive towards Keflavik & check in at the Hotel. Overnight in Keflavik.
Day 10: Keflavik – Fly Out
